Who Will Walk Out With Morgan Wallen in Baltimore?

Morgan Wallen brings the Still the Problem Tour to Baltimore’s M&T Bank Stadium on Friday, July 17 and Saturday, July 18 — and Ravens fans already know the real question. Forget the setlist for a second. Who’s walking out with him?

The pre-show walk-out has become the most anticipated three minutes of any Wallen concert. And Baltimore, with its stacked bench of sports royalty, might be the best setup on the entire tour.

Here’s who we think is most likely to stroll out at Wallen’s side.

First, How the Walk-Out Actually Works

If you’re new to this: Wallen enters the stadium to Lil Durk’s “Broadway Girls” — the 2022 hit he’s featured on — with the whole thing streamed live on the Jumbotron. Since 2024, he’s been bringing a local celebrity along for the walk.

The guest list over the years reads like a fever dream. Tom Brady and Mike Tyson together in Las Vegas. Drake in Houston. Patrick Mahomes. Barry Bonds. Brett Favre in Wisconsin. Marshawn Lynch in Seattle. David Spade in full Joe Dirt costume in Arizona.

The through-line is almost always the same: Wallen picks a hometown hero. He opened this tour in Minneapolis alongside NFL Hall of Famer and former Viking Jared Allen. That’s the formula. So who’s Baltimore’s?

Most Likely: A Ravens Legend

This is M&T Bank Stadium. The purple ghosts are everywhere, and Wallen loves playing to the room.

Ray Lewis is the obvious headliner. He’s the most iconic figure ever to walk out of that tunnel, and his signature squirrel dance is arguably the most famous stadium entrance in NFL history. A Ray Lewis walk-out at M&T Bank Stadium would be a walk-out about walk-outs. The building would come apart.

Ed Reed is the other Hall of Fame option, and Lamar Jackson is the current face of the franchise — though active players in midsummer are always a maybe.

The Baltimore Wildcard: Cal Ripken Jr.

Here’s the pick we’d actually put money on.

Wallen is a serious baseball guy. He’s walked out with Roger Clemens, Barry Bonds, and Randy Johnson on past tours — the man clearly loves an MLB legend. And Baltimore has one of the most beloved baseball figures alive in Cal Ripken Jr., the Iron Man himself.

Ripken is a Maryland institution. He’s also famous for one specific thing: showing up. Every single day, 2,632 games in a row. If Wallen wants a walk-out that lands with the whole city and not just the football crowd, Ripken is the move.

The Hometown Hero: Michael Phelps

Don’t sleep on this one. Michael Phelps is a Baltimore native, the most decorated Olympian in history, and a genuine local legend who still lives large in the city’s imagination.

He’s not the sport Wallen usually reaches for, but he’s arguably the most famous person Baltimore has ever produced. If the tour wants a viral moment, Phelps walking out to “Broadway Girls” in a stadium full of Marylanders would absolutely do it.

Who’s Joining Him On Stage

Separate from the walk-out, Wallen’s been pulling openers into his set all tour. Baltimore’s lineup rotates between nights, which tells you a lot.

Friday, July 17 features Brooks & Dunn, Gavin Adcock, and Jason Scott & The High Heat. Saturday, July 18 swaps Brooks & Dunn for Ella Langley, with Adcock and Jason Scott back.

Adcock’s the safest on-stage bet both nights — Wallen has been bringing him out for “Up Down” throughout the run. And if you’re going Saturday, watch for Langley on their duet “I Can’t Love You Anymore.” That pairing has been a tour highlight.

A Warning From Las Vegas

One caveat worth knowing: the walk-out isn’t guaranteed.

At Allegiant Stadium in May, Wallen told the crowd that five different people had been lined up for the walk-out and every one of them bailed at the last minute. He was not thrilled about it, and he said so from the stage.

So while Baltimore has the deepest possible roster of candidates, celebrities flake. Some nights Wallen just walks out alone — and honestly, the crowd doesn’t seem to mind much.

Our board, ranked: Ray Lewis is the emotional pick, Cal Ripken Jr. is the smart money, and Michael Phelps is the wildcard that breaks the internet. Two nights means two chances, so Wallen could easily hit two of the three.

Whoever it is, be in your seat early. The walk-out happens minutes before the first song, and if you’re stuck in the M&T Bank Stadium concourse when the Jumbotron lights up, you’re going to hear about it from everyone around you.

We’ll update this post once the guests are confirmed. Bookmark it.
